The Special Needs Support Group is made up of a large membership of families from throughout the metroplex. The group has had various activities over the years including:
Field Day in the gym
Karate Class for kids
Parents and Kids Picnic and Play in the park
Mom's teas
Mom's dinners
Potlucks
Playtime for kids and moms at Masjid with stories and crafts and snack
Family Resource Fair and dinner with Muhsen
Eid parties and carnival
Projects with Girls Scout troops including making hygiene kits for IACC Food Bank
Ice Cream Social
Parent lectures with various health care providers including: Dr Lorna Bradley workshop, ABA therapist lecture, Speech therapist seminar
