I want to tell you a little bit about me. I grew up in a small town in Idaho called Rupert. I moved to Salt Lake City, Utah right after I graduated from Minico High School. I am married and we have 2 daughters. We love to do all kinds of things as a family. I love to read and some of my favorite books are the Harry Potter series, The Royal Spyness series and Molly Murphy Mystery series. I also love children's picture books and some of my favorites are, Where Wild Things Are, Smelly Socks and Custard the Dragon. I love crafts, scrapbooking and have just learned how to draw with oil pastels. This is my first year teaching, but I have worked for Granite School District for 10 years as a paraeducator teaching special education at Fox Hills Elementary. I went back to school and graduated from Salt Lake Community College with an Associates Degree in Education. Then finished up a Bachelors Degree in Special Education Mild/Moderate from Utah State University. I am so excited to be back at Hunter Elementary this year.
