Water and dust can get into your phone speaker through various ways, such as accidental spills, humid environments or dirty pockets. This can cause several issues for your phone and your sound quality, such as:

To prevent these problems from getting worse, you need to clean your phone speaker from water and dust as soon as possible. However, opening up your phone or using tools like toothpicks or cotton swabs can be risky and ineffective. You might end up damaging your phone more than fixing it.

Thank you so very much, like you are the greatest of the greatest, I was so worried when the speakers got wet, the sound was cracking, but thanks to you, its working well again, actually its better than before, you are the real superhero in the life of people. Thank you.

I doubted this but then I tried it and I still have my hearing because I left it my room for the whole sound and then came back and I could hear perfectly through my speaker again thank you to whoever made this app

THIS ACTUALY WORKED!! I was just pouring water in my cup when I accidentally poured ALOT. It overflowed and my phone was in the way and sadly hit the speaker. 5:15 in in the first try! Thank you so much!

Past versions of Sound Forge Audio Studio I have recorded YouTube audios, but with SFA Studio 16 I have followed the directions multiple times for the settings and I cannot get it to record. Suggestions? What might I be missing? My speakers are connected via USB which I do not know if this is a factor or not. Thank you in advance for your suggestions!

Did the USB speaker set-up work with your past versions of SF? If so , it is likily a setting somewhere. Otherwise SF may not be able to record 'what-you-hear' using USB for playback. I would like to check this out, but do have have any USB speakers. Maybe @SP. or someone else can experiment if they have USB speakers.

@rraud my Windows settings show "Speakers... USB Audio DAC Default Device". I am able to use Audacity for the same purpose, but I prefer working with SSF. I do have a brand new gaming desktop and I am waiting for a confirmation about the sound card. Thank you for your input!

SUMMARY: "both Windows and many sound card makers no longer allow the recording of streaming audio the way that Sound Forge Pro and Audio Studio are designed to do it. The easiest solution here is to use the Sound Forge Audio Cleaning Lab program... this provides a bridge over those new Windows and sound card settings and allows you to record streaming audio quite simply (even simpler than the other SF versions)."

Make a right click on the speaker icon in your Windows taskbar and click on Sounds. In the Sounds window open the Recording tab. There you should enable Stereo Mix or What-U-Hear. If nothing is visible make a right click on the white area and select to show disabled devices.

Hi @Debbie-Thompson, In lieu of a set of USB speakers, I connected a Zoom F8n field recorder as a USB destination, then went to the SF menu (Options> Preferences> Audio> Audio device type/Record) The USB device was available in 'Windows Classic Wave driver', The internet audio could be seen in the SF record levels meter and recorded. I used my Dell XPS Win 10 laptop, the audio source was from the internet I tested this in SF AS-16 and 17

'Some PCs allow "recording what you hear" natively.. some do not,. All my Dell laptop and desktop PCs allowed it (going back to the Win 95 era with Sound Forge 3). OTOH, I had two Toshiba Satellites that could not 'record-what-u-hear' without a third-party utility... both the Toshiba and Dell PCs had similar Realtek soundcards. I think I used VB-CABLE for the Toshiba PCs, as a work-around.

The Motion Boom does indeed struggle with clarity at larger listening angles. The 5khz, 9khz, and 13khz sliders in the custom EQ can be increased to improve clarity. Another solution I found is that the speaker can be tilted backwards on a flat surface to point towards you more directly, as seen in the photo below. I also attached my custom EQ if you want to give that a try.

Iam so glad that you like it. Yest motion boom got great bass but I was lacking details from my old motion+. That EQ is the best I managed to get from this speaker. Now Iam happy enough to keep it for a long time. Happy Christmas.

Simon107 this is BY FAR the absolute best EQ setting for this speaker. You saved me a TON of work trying to get this thing to sound the way it should. THIS right here is exactly how a speaker should sound! It is absolute perfection! Thank you!

I used a hot hairdryer for 1 minute on the speaker, microphone, and earpiece of my iPhone 14 Pro Max, fearing that steam from a hot shower might have entered. Although the loudness of the speaker is fine, I have noticed slight distortion or crackling in the audio, which i think is my delusion. I am uncertain about how to confirm if any actual damage has occurred. However, I suspect that I may have caused harm or melting to some internal components with the hot air, leading to audio quality degradation. I feel like a lunatic for doing such a dumb action and am now wondering how to determine if there is any real damage.

Also, the iPhone 14 is water resistant up to 6 meters for 30 minutes, I highly doubt the steam would be causing issues to the internal components. If water does manage to seep into the speakers and the sound distorted for a while after, I would recommend seeing an Apple repair specialist.

Hi there peopleĀ

I have used my Soundcore Life P2 wireless earbuds for a few weeks now,

but today, after a short break where they rested in the charging case,

the left earbud wont play a sound anymore.

Both Earbuds connect and are recognized,

there is just no sound playing at all on the left side.

I find that my Life P2 connected but no sound from the right side. I tried reset sometime but it didnt work. The button and mic seem work correctly but no sound. Suddenly I find that if I push a little force to the right earbud there was sound. But if I release sound will disappear. I think it not the problem of connection ability but the hardware.

When I pan all the way to the left in accessibility and flip the phone (so that left and right switch sides), the speakers sound completely different, like the woofer has gone, but there is no woofer.

When you hold your phone to your ear, the top speaker is on. This feature lets you hear the caller while the bottom speaker is off. Because the top speaker is smaller than the bottom speaker, it will sound much quieter when isolated from the bottom speaker.

For this project I built a gun that shoots out a narrow beam of ultrasonic audio. The sound can only be heard by people inside the narrow beam, or through a nearby source when the audio gets demodulated.

Ive seen parametric speakers like this for sale on some sites but I wanted to make on for my own. It works by taking an audio source, in this case a Bluetooth speaker circuit, which then gets modulated to 40khz through a 555 timer circuit. From the 555 timer the output gets amplified and then is then sent to an array of ultrasonic transducers.

40khz is outside of the audible human range which means we cant hear it, however once the sound waves strike an object, the 40khz sound gets demodulated and you can hear the sound that's playing over the bluetooth speaker module. Because you cant hear the ultrasonic sound, It makes it seem like the sound is coming from the object. If you stand in the narrow beam of sound waves the sound can be heard, but standing just outside the beam the audio is silent.

The 555 circuit is a tricky one to get right. The slightest variance in capacitance will cause the entire project to modulate improperly and the sound will be inaudible. I recommend using a piezo buzzer instead of a transducer at first as its easier to hear if its working properly. The circuit says 160pF but this could be off slightly, just add or remove very small capacitors until the circuit is modulating at 40khz.

If you followed my circuit, the left switch boots everything up and the LED lets you know the bluetooth module is ready to connect. Next you can connect your phone and start playing some sound. I like to either use the microphone or just play a song. Pressing the trigger will cause the ultrasonic audio to play when you have your finger on the trigger and flipping the toggle switch will cause the music to play constantly.

depends who/what is your receiver, what detail do you want it to be, what volume, etc. it is possible to get prety decent range similar to a normal small speaker, however you have to use higher voltages(up to 110V at the transducer(output) side to get the most power, the parts stated here can't handle that, but 4 powermosfets rated for higher voltage can, use a voltage pump or a step up transformer or such to increase the voltage.Ā

at around 5V it will work but will be soft, at around 18V you will have prety loud sound having a prety far range. closer to the 110V(for example 100V) would give you something loud enough to make people have trouble hearing anything else.

Predictable, reliable operation: Internal amplification is closely matched to drivers. Because individual components have been optimized during manufacturing, you can expect consistent sound from show to show. Built-in, factory-optimized protection circuitry provides extra assurance without degrading signal quality. And, when you have less equipment, you have less risk of failure.

Certified Safe: Nothing matters more than the safety of your staff and customers. Because self-powered loudspeakers incorporate amplification, they must undergo rigorous testing by Underwriters Laboratories and other international organizations to ensure they operate safely and guard against the risk of fire, electric shock, and inadequate structural design. Enjoy peace of mind knowing Meyer Sound powered products are certified by FCC, UL, CSA, CE, and CEE the most stringent agencies in the business. e24fc04721
