Privacy Policy — Clear Speaker
Last Updated: August 29, 2026
Clear Speaker (also listed as "Speaker Cleaner: Water Eject", package com.a2.speaker_app) — "the App" — respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the App and its third-party components collect, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Information We Do Not Collect
The App does not collect, store, or transmit personally identifiable information. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or account of any kind. The App has no login and no user accounts.
The App generates audio tones locally on your device to help clear water and dust from your speaker. It does not record audio. The App does not request microphone permission and cannot listen to you. It does not access your photos, contacts, files, or precise location.
Settings such as your session count and preferences are stored only in your device's local storage and are never sent to us or to anyone else.
Advertising and Device Identifiers
The App is free and supported by advertising. It uses Google AdMob to display ads.
To serve ads, AdMob collects and shares with Google the following:
- Device or other identifiers — specifically your device's Advertising ID (a resettable ID assigned by Android), along with technical device information such as device model, operating system version, and IP address.
This data is used for these purposes only:
- Advertising and marketing — selecting, delivering, and measuring the performance of ads shown in the App.
- Fraud prevention, security, and compliance — detecting invalid clicks and fraudulent ad traffic.
We, the developer, do not receive your Advertising ID. It is processed by Google. Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and by "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).
The App declares the com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID permission, which is required from Android 13 onward for the ads SDK to access the Advertising ID.
Your Choices and Consent
- Consent (EEA, UK, and Switzerland): On first launch, the App shows a Google-certified consent message (Google User Messaging Platform) asking whether you agree to personalized ads. You may change your choice at any time using the "Privacy options" button inside the App.
- Opting out of ad personalization (all regions): Open your device Settings → Google → Ads, where you can reset your Advertising ID or turn off ad personalization entirely. The App will continue to work; you will simply see non-personalized ads.
- Data deletion: Because the App holds no account and stores no data about you on any server we control, there is no personal data for us to delete. Data stored locally is removed when you uninstall the App. To clear your Advertising ID, use the device settings described above.
Data Security
All data transmitted by the advertising SDK is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Third-Party Services
- Google AdMob — advertising. Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Google Play Services / In-App Review — used to show the standard Google Play rating dialog. Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
The App does not use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or any other analytics or crash-reporting service.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
