Hi! I'm Leah McVay and I have been in HOSA for 2 years now! Last year I competed with my partner in the public health and we placed 3rd at SLC. In June of 2024 we flew to Texas and competed at ILC, where we advanced to round 2. Through HOSA I have found my passion and I truly know that I want to be a healthcare professional. I have met so many great people through my HOSA community and have truly learned more than I ever thought! I can't wait to continue to compete for my next two years in high school. I'm so excited for my future in healthcare and I truly believe HOSA is a contributing factor to that!
Hi! I'm Natalie Jackson and this is my first year being in HOSA! I am extremely grateful and excited to be participating in SLC this year! Being in HOSA has helped tremendously with getting involved within school activities and meeting many new people. HOSA has also helped me solidify my want of working in the medical field as a future career. My passion for caring and helping people in need has grown this year as I've been in my Health Science class at ORHS and HOSA. Being in this class and this organization has grown my medical knowledge so much! I have demonstrated and learned so many things that keep my fascination fueled. I can't wait to see where my next two years in HOSA will take me as I plan on competing again both years!
