My background is technical and practical.
I hold a PhD in Chemistry from Cranfield University (UK). Before teaching, I worked as a Research Scientist at SmartWater Research Limited.
This was a small, fast-moving company. My role was not limited to the lab. I handled operations, negotiated with suppliers, and coordinated with production teams. I learned that in business, communication must be clear, fast, and effective. There is no time for complex grammar when you need to solve a logistical problem.
Between 2003 and 2005, I worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Cranfield University.
Here, I discovered my interest in training. I mentored PhD students, helping them operate complex instruments and understand rigorous scientific methods. I learned how to guide intelligent people through difficult learning curves with patience.
In 2012, I moved to Milan and recognized a gap.
I met many professionals—engineers, doctors, and managers—who were experts in their fields but struggled to express that expertise in English.
Over the last decade, I have worked with multinationals (Oracle, Enel, ConvaTec) and hundreds of private clients.
I am not a native speaker who "just knows" English. I am a scientist who learned the structure of the language.
I understand the difficulty of translating complex thoughts into a second language. My goal is to help you communicate your professional reality—whether it is a medical procedure or a sales negotiation—with confidence and dignity.
