ABOUT US
E mihi kau ana ki ngā whetū o Matariki kua tīraha mai, kua tara a whare-te-parekawakawa, mauri te whare, te mauri hoki o Te Atua. Mōkori ano kia rere nga mihi ki a koutou. As we gather in the name of the Lord, peace be with you all.
St Peter Chanel School is a state integrated Catholic school that teaches the NZ and Catholic religious education curriculum centred on Christian values to children from Year 1 through to Year 8 and we also warmly welcome children from non-Catholic families.
Bilingualism (Reo Maori & English) is weaved within the learning framework of St Peter Chanel to allow equal access and opportunity for our children to be enriched by our official languages of our country.
We offer a family orientated school environment that has children integrated across Year levels into 3 highly active, sustainable and well supported classrooms. Our Curriculum programme is diverse and fun to allow our children the opportunity to shine in all areas of learning. Acknowledging our special character and the ’voices’ of our school community. We cherish the relationship between our school, our children their family and our Parish community and wider community.
‘It takes a Village to raise a child.’
We are surrounded and sustained by Gods unique
