Important Instruction for Answer Script Preparation

• Write the sections as shown below on the front page of your answer script in an A4 size paper.

• Write the examination as - B.Sc/B.A (Hons/Major/Gen), CBCS system - 2021.

• Write Semester as 1 or 3 or 5 (as applicable).

• Write the registration number as given in the Registration Certificate, issued by the University of Calcutta.

• Write the Roll Number issued by the University of Calcutta (Check the Roll from the eligible list of candidates).

• Write your name as given in the Admit Card/Registration certificate issued by University of Calcutta.

• Mention if you are appearing as Honours / General / Major student.

• Subject - Write the subject you are appearing for, like Computer Science (CMSA/CMSG) Mathematics (MTMA/MTMG), English (ENGA/ENGG) etc.

• Paper - write the paper number or the code given on the question paper / admit card.

• Group/unit - as given in the question paper.

• Full Marks - Write the number as given in the question paper 25 / 30 / 40 / 50 or100 (as applicable or mentioned on the question paper).

• Write the starting and ending time as given in the Notice.

• Duration - Write the duration as given in the question paper.

• Date of Examination as per the schedule.

• Full signature - .Candidate must sign in full and not in initials.

• The number of questions attempted - for example if you have attempted Q1, Q2, Q3, Q6 and so on, then just write 1 in one box followed by 2, 3 and 6. If the question 1 is having subparts as a, b or c , then also you need to write 1 in the box provided, do not mention the sub parts.

• Write the answer script in Black ink coloured ballpoint pen. Avoid Gel pens. It is very essential that you preserve your answer copy.
