Fundraise (money goes towards SPARK experiences/field trips)
Create community of parents
Volunteer Opportunities
SPC Co-chair
Leading SPC with another Co-Chair, to ensure all parents’ voices are represented within school leadership
Approximately 5-10 hrs volunteer commitment per month (depends on events and schedule)
Develop and Co-lead all SPC monthly meetings and agendas
Meet with SPC leadership team and Haley Pilot Admin, as scheduled (monthly)
Two-year commitment.
Citywide Parent Council Representative
Made up entirely of current BPS parent volunteers, the Citywide Parent Council (CPC) of Boston Public Schools is the official voice of all our 38,000 families. The CPC is the umbrella organization of each of our 125 schools’ School Parent Councils (SPCs), and are constituted by the elected representatives from each of the schools. They advocate as one voice for all of the BPS students and their families.
