For our 1st module we were told to make a scientific or a supernatural device from any of the formula,theory learnt in 11th & 12th.According to me this exercise was to test our imagination
1.Magical cloud
I started with the concept of magnetism like pole repel each other.I made a drawing of a floating cloud that could take you any where you feel like.The entire base is a giant magnet with one pole facing the ground, which constantly pushes against an opposing magnetic field emitted by the Earth or a global grid. This constant push-back creates effortless levitation, keeping the cloud silently floating above the surface.Â
2.Sensation of a float and Distortion
From the device I went into the feeling of a float and distortion.How you feel the space around you or how you sense the surroundings.For me while floating you loose the sense of direction,you see the buildings in a different way.Everything you usually see looks different, almost like a dream. Buildings no longer stand rigidly straight; they appear to tilt, shrink, or stretch from your new viewpoint. The drawings below are some of my representation for a sense of float and distortion.
From there I created a city which is fully distorted.The buildings are bending and curving.
