Sparkwell Studio helps you plan sessions, save build specs, and generate run lists on your device. This page explains what information is handled, how it’s used, and the rules for any text you choose to enter in the app.
Information We Collect
Information you enter
Build names, descriptions, materials, notes, and step instructions you type into the app.
Optional photos you select for build covers.
App usage information
Run history events (for example: duration, step counts, timestamps) stored to show your stats.
Device information
Basic device and app version details may be used for troubleshooting when you contact support.
How We Use Information
Provide core functionality: planning sessions, generating run lists, and guiding Run Mode.
Improve reliability: diagnose crashes or bugs when support requests include device/app details.
Show insights: compute personal stats from your run history.
Data Storage and Processing
On-device storage
Your builds, plans, run list checkmarks, and run history are stored locally on your device.
Build photos are stored locally in the app’s private storage.
Third-party services
In-app purchases: the app may use the platform billing service to process optional support purchases.
Policy viewing: the in-app policy screen may load this policy page inside a webview.
Maps link: “Find nearby supplier” can open your maps app using an external link.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not share your build content with other users because the app does not include social feeds or public profiles.
If you contact support, you may choose to share details in email.
Your Choices and Controls
Delete your data
You can erase all app data at any time from within the app (Factory Reset).
Manage photos
You can add, replace, or remove build cover photos within the editor.
External links
You can choose whether to open external services (maps, web pages) when prompted.
Data Retention
Data you create remains on your device until you delete it, uninstall the app, or use Factory Reset.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect data stored by the app, including using app-private local storage where available. No method of storage is 100% secure, so please avoid storing sensitive personal information in notes.
Children’s Privacy
Sparkwell Studio is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information via support email, contact us and we will address it.
Posting Policy (Text You Enter Into the App)
The app allows you to type your own content (build names, notes, steps). This content stays on your device and is not published by the app.
Please do not enter:
Personal data you would not want stored on a device (government IDs, full financial details).
Content that is illegal, threatening, hateful, or harassing.
Instructions intended to cause harm to people, animals, or property.
If you share screenshots or exported text externally, you are responsible for what you publish.
In-App Purchases
Optional support purchases are handled by the app store billing system. We do not receive your full payment card details.
International Users
Your data is primarily stored on your device. If you contact support by email, your email provider may process that message in accordance with its policies.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect improvements or legal requirements. The “Last Updated” date will change when updates are made.
