High amount of wait time due to repaint/loading between certain options.

Unity has a Shader Variant Collection system designed to reduce repaint/loading times. The next update will include a precompiled shader variant named "TieDyeVariants" - this will need to replace any variant you create.

In the meantime, if you wish to implement your own shader variant asset until the update is ready for release you can follow these steps:

In your Project window: 

1. Right-click → Create → Shader Variant Collection

2. Name it MyTieDyeVariants

3. Open it and click Add Shader — select TieDye shader

4. Click Save — Unity will populate it with all current variants 

*Tip* (you can cycle through each of the axis modes and use toggle flow/noise to precompile more shader variants - the more you precompile, the faster the load times)

Then to make Unity load it at startup:

1. Go to Edit → Project Settings → Graphics

2. Find Preloaded Shaders > Expand it

3. Click + and add your MyTieDyeVariants collection

Then, on the projects next launch, Unity will have a precompiled asset that loads at startup, eliminating most on-demand compilation hitches.

My apologies for this oversight! I am working on setting up the next update as fast as I can which does address this problem.
