The Kiwanis members are active in education and outreach programs both at our Kiwanis Activity Center and throughout the community.
Activities include:
Walking Safety is taught at the shop and at community events The Safety Town at the shop was an Eagle Project to support pedestrian safety role play for young children
Hospital “comfort” dolls (PTP dolls) are sewn, packaged, and donated to health care facilities throughout the year
SinawiK Stove development is the newest club project, working to develop a non-polluting, non-electric pellet stove to be used in rural Africa
Bicycling education through our signature bicycling education program we host clubs, riding clinics, rodeos, repair clinics and more. Please visit the Kiwanis Bikes website.
Kiwanis Community Garden located at the Kiwanis Activity Center is offered to non-profits working to teach youth about farm-to-table healthy eating and living
Kiwanis Krafters expanded the previous PTP dolls project to reach more youth in more ways and community events and expanded teaching activities in the shop
