This is kinda just the first step of what revealing my next project is, but it is also an important step.
This is The Triverse Revival Project.
What is the Triverse?
Some may remember, some may not
But to those who do not, the Triverse was a project originally started by me in early 2019. It was merely a large scale universe featuring a collection of multiple stories, including the story that features Zer0 as the protagonist.
Despite that though, Zer0's story will not be getting time in the spotlight. I'll be focusing my attention on what the final idea I had for the Triverse was before 2019 concluded and 2020 happened with other projects of mine.
I've been working on the early stages of this project for over a year now, like this logo you see above.
It of course is still a work in progress, but I'm really excited to share more once to the time is right.
Another thing I want to point out again is that the Triverse is a collection of stories, meaning that the current story I have in the making will not be the only one. I cannot guarantee how many there will be, but I can say there will be more than one.
Lastly, I want to add that I'm hoping to adapt these stories into comic form, as originally intended in 2019.
That is all I will share for the timebeing, and I do really hope to share more info in the near future.

Hey everyone, today I want to share some news about LIGHT CHASM's future and what it'll mean going forward. These things have been on my mind for some time now, and while I probably don't really have to share, I still think it may be best to try anyway because I'd rather not leave those who may care in the dark about the situation at hand.
I'd like to introduce myself though. If you don't already know me, my name is Kara. I've been the main/lead developer and *mostly* only developer since LIGHT CHASM's inception back in May of 2021.
LIGHT CHASM was meant to be a really quick one-and-done project for, those who know, Krazy Komix's 3rd anniversary. For those who aren't in the know, Krazy Komix was a "business" (we didn't really sell anything) I made during my middle school years in an attempt to showcase my artwork and doodles in the form of comics, which was a passion of mine I enjoyed doing up until 6th grade I started falling flat with.
What was meant to be a project that was supposed to take 3 months to complete, I ended up being slow and putting it off every now and again and only released over 4 WIP demos before its first full game release in September of 2022. I didn't HAVE to continue adding more content to the game, but I've never fully felt like the game had reached its full potential.
I did want to add more content, and even planned more levels. But since its v1.0.0 release progress began to become stagnant and slow, with only 3 more versions releasing afterward and two of which having released within the last 6 months.
I've only been relying on random bursts of motivation to get this project done. v1.2.0 took over half of 2025 and somehow v.1.3.0 took over 2 weeks after finding more motivation. And while I did make a transition into using Turbowarp over Scratch on the website, it is still very much a slog to use.
So what am I making an announcement for? Well, it has been nearly 5 years. I have been struggling, most especially since the v1.0.0 release, to keep up with adding the content and ideas I've wanted to add for most of that time. I was 15 when I started the project, and I am 20 now. I'm simply not as ambitious and passionate as I once was, and after all this project was originally meant to take over 3 months as stated earlier.
I do not feel like I can focus on the other things I'm passionate about creating without worrying about this project which I've truly been trying my hardest with to prioritize. I've had a successor in mind for LIGHT CHASM for some time now and I've been putting it off in favor of doing this instead. And now I have other ideas in mind I'd also rather do instead of the successor. (which, I don't doubt I'll ever get to though)
If you're wondering, I am NOT cancelling development on LIGHT CHASM's new content and polish, but I'm simply going to put a pause or hiatus, whatever you want to call it, on this project. I'm just simply going to work on it if I ever truly feel like it.
I want to apologize for this though. I'm really really sorry that I couldn't make this game reach its complete potential and be the best version of itself. That was all I really wanted from this and was why it's been hard for me to quit on this project.
I do not know if I'll keep using Scratch/Turbowarp. As I said earlier, it's awful to work with and I'd love to use something more professional for once, like Gamemaker or something. And I don't really think me being 20 and still using Scratch, a coding platform for kids, is a very good look on me.

And that's like it I guess.
Thank you for sticking with me until the end of all of this.
LIGHT CHASM will of course still be available and free to play for as long as it continues to exist here on Scratch.
I wish you all a wonderful night!
