In the event of a medical emergency requiring jewelry removal, standard nail clippers are typically strong enough to cut through the piece of jewelry at the jump ring. For best results, and to preserve the piece for future wear, the cut should be made at the jump ring, which is the small connector linking the ends of the chain or the site of the weld.
Once you’re ready to have your jewelry reattached, simply bring your chain to one of our events or our store in Geneva, we’ll be happy to get you reconnected.
Permanent jewelry is designed to be durable, but occasional breakage can happen with everyday wear. If your piece breaks at the weld site or jump ring, Sparked will repair it at no cost.
If the chain itself breaks due to normal wear or lifestyle factors, we’re still happy to help, repairs in this case are available for a $10 fee.
