This Privacy Policy applies to this App
(1) Our primary goals in collecting information are to provide and improve our services. We will collect technical information that may also be personal data (e.g. Internet connectivity, device ID etc.) from your device in order for us to be able to provide the functionality of the Application.
(2) This app saves information such as age, gender, weight if user wants to, which will remains on the user's device locally.
(3) The app uses a sensor in order to count steps and then calculates distance covered and calories burned according to the number of steps taken which is saved on user's device.
(4) The app uses Firebase for analytic use. The app also uses firebase database for the functionality of a Leaderboard. The user can participate in the leaderboard and can maintain a score based on the steps he/she has taken.
Data Deletion:
Section (1),(2),(3) is the information that is stored in the user device as long as the application is installed on the user device. This information will be no longer be stored and present when the user uninstalls the application.
Section (4) : The user can be able to make a profile in the firebase database so he\she can maintain a score using a leaderboard. The score and date will be saved in the database which is in the form of text. The app has provided a Delete Button on the leaderboard screen which can be used to delete the user's profile along with its score and date from the database.
Please note that we do not share your information such as your name, phone number or any personal information with other companies.
To perform the functionality of the app, we require certain permissions. There is one permission (Physical Activity Access) described below which is necessary and without it, the app can not work properly. All other permissions are optional without them some functionalities of the app may not work.
Physical Activity Access: This permission is necessary so that the app can calculate and record the number of steps, distance covered and other fitness metrics so that you can keep an eye on your progress. Your record will only be saved locally on user device.
Notification Permission: If you want to receive notifications when completing goals, or get reminders or to monitor your steps, calories and distance traveled, then you can grant this permission or deny it if you do not want.
We use third party advertising companies to serve ads. These companies may use aggregated information (not including your name, address, email address or phone number) about your visit to this or other apps in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.
