My classes
Hi everyone! I’m Claudia, a Colombian journalist and communication professor who loves traveling and meeting people from different cultures. I teach Spanish in a fun, practical way, so you’ll learn the language while discovering our rich Latin American culture. My students—from Korea, the U.S., Portugal, and England—have taken both survival and business Spanish with great results.
I'm Claudia Gonzalez, a Colombian journalist, communication professor, and passionate storyteller. I believe language learning should be an engaging journey that allows you to discover the richness of our culture.
Why Learn With Me?
10+ years of teaching experience in communication, media, and culture at different universities.
Professional journalist for major Latin American media like El Tiempo and Avianca Magazine.
Academic background: I hold a Master’s degree in Literature from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and a degree in Social Communication and Journalism.
My goal is simple: to help you learn Spanish in a creative and meaningful way that gets you speaking confidently right away!
Conversation classes in Spanish. Improve your confidence and fluency through dynamic, real-life conversations. These classes include debates, games, and discussions about current events and Latin American culture. You’ll expand your vocabulary, sharpen your pronunciation, and enjoy speaking naturally with engaging materials like videos, images, and authentic texts.
These classes represent the best option for improving one's conversational Spanish and listening comprehension skills, enabling one to fluently navigate different real-life situations**.**
In order to enjoy and take full advantage of these classes, we recommend that students have, at minimum, a low-intermediate level of Spanish, which will allow them to have relatively fluid conversations with their instructors.
These classes motivate our students to creatively use their Spanish skills through editorials and debates related to current events or topics of special interest. Students will be able to form questions, request information, and make requests.
These classes use teaching aids such as illustrations, photos, audio/video content, and a wide range of texts to stimulate teacher-student interaction.
