For over 50 years BGSU has had its own campus in Alcalá de Henares, Spain (just outside Madrid). All students are welcome to study abroad, whether you're majoring in Spanish or not. Have a look at the program here.
As mentioned in the Overiew & Resources tab, SPAN 3520 is designed to help you improve your Spanish-language skills at the intermediate level. This course focuses on honing range of written communication styles. This link contains specific tasks that you should be able to complete successfully at the intermediate level. Have a look at it and let me know if you're still having trouble with some of these points after a few weeks.
Improvement through this “Gateway” tier provides the foundation for progressing through the intermediate level and eventually achieving the long-term goal of advanced proficiency in Spanish.
Before graduating, Spanish majors will need to complete and submit an outcomes portfolio to the department for review. This portfolio will include all written and graded work done in 3000 and 4000-level courses. Consequently, you must keep all graded documents that are returned to you from this class.
