Descriptive speech and writing may seem basic, but presents a number of challenges to English L1 (first-language) speakers. We'll focus on building a vibrant descriptive vocabulary and hone your skills with ser, estar, haber, and other challenging verbs.
Narration relies on the use of engaging verbs in the present and past to tell a compelling story. In this section we'll focus on weaving captivating tales by organizing our ideas and making our words accurately reflect our thoughts.
Desires and emotions in Spanish work quite differently than they do in English. In this section of the course we'll focus on present tense subjunctive verbs to ensure that you're expressing your thoughts with nuance and finesse.
While the course will roll-out in this order, we can move between them as necessary based on student's needs and challenges. NEVER feel like you can't ask a question because we haven't gotten to that part of the course. Ask all your questions, harness that curiosity!
