This Privacy Policy explains how the Chrome Extension "Spam Reporter" (referred to as "the Extension") handles and protects user information. We are committed to ensuring your privacy and protecting any configuration data handled by the Extension.

1. Purpose of Processing and Data Collection

The Extension operates with a single purpose: to facilitate the forwarding of spam and phishing emails from Gmail to an organization's internal security team. As a default rule, the Extension does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to any external developer server.

2. Data Items Processed and Storage

• Recipient Configuration (securityEmail): The Extension saves the designated security email address in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local). This configuration remains solely inside your browser and is never sent to us or any third party.

• Email Content Parsing: When you initiate a report, the Extension locally parses the sender's address, email subject, and body text from the active Gmail tab. This parsing is executed strictly within your browser environment. No email content is ever uploaded to any central server.

3. Third-Party Sharing and Data Transmission

We do not share, sell, distribute, or lease any information processed by the Extension to third parties. Data transmission only occurs when you explicitly click the native Gmail "Send" button in the generated draft window, which sends the report directly to the security email address you configured, using your own email service.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Since we do not collect or store user data on any remote servers, we do not retain your data. The configuration parameters saved in your browser's local storage will be permanently deleted immediately when you uninstall the Extension from your browser.

5. Rights of the User

You have full control over your settings. You can modify your settings in the Extension's popup window at any time, or completely erase all stored configurations by uninstalling the Extension via the Chrome Extensions manager (chrome://extensions).

• 이메일 본문 및 정보 파싱: 사용자가 신고 버튼을 클릭할 때, 열려 있는 Gmail 화면상에서 발신자 주소, 이메일 제목 및 본문 데이터를 파싱합니다. 이 과정은 사용자 브라우저 내에서만 실행되며, 어떠한 개인정보도 제3자 서버나 개발자 서버로 전송 또는 저장되지 않습니다.

3. 개인정보의 제3자 제공 및 위탁

본 프로그램은 수집한 정보를 외부에 판매, 공유, 위탁 또는 전송하지 않습니다. 모든 데이터 처리는 사용자의 기기(로컬 브라우저) 내에서만 수행됩니다. 사용자가 명시적으로 '신고하기'를 완료하고 Gmail의 전송 버튼을 누르는 시점에만, 사용자가 설정한 '보안팀 이메일 주소'로 사용자의 메일 서버를 통해 직접 메일이 발송됩니다.

4. 개인정보의 보유 및 파기 기간

본 프로그램은 사용자 데이터를 수집하거나 서버에 보유하지 않으므로 파기할 대상 정보가 존재하지 않습니다. 브라우저 저장소에 저장된 보안팀 수신 이메일 주소는 사용자가 본 프로그램을 삭제(제거)할 때 브라우저에 의해 즉시 영구 파기됩니다.

5. 정보주체의 권리 및 행사방법

이용자는 언제든지 크롬 확장 프로그램 관리 페이지(chrome://extensions)에서 본 프로그램을 제거하여 로컬 저장소에 저장된 모든 데이터와 설정을 영구적으로 삭제할 수 있습니다.
