Spades (the "App") Effective date: 30 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information the Spades app collects, how it is used, who it is shared with, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to the Spades app for iPhone published by GREWON TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED ("we", "us", "our").
Please read it together with our Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up, email or password.
Do you know my name?
Only if you type one into the App. It stays on your device, except that it is shown to nearby players when you play a Bluetooth game.
What do you collect automatically?
Game usage events, crash reports, an anonymous random ID, purchase status, and advertising data from our ad partners.
Do you show ads?
Yes. A short video ad may appear after each round. You can remove ads permanently with the one-time Premium purchase.
Do you track me across other apps?
Only if you allow it in the iOS tracking prompt. Ads still appear if you say no, but they are not personalized.
Do you sell my data?
We do not sell your data for money. Our ad partners receive advertising data as described in section 6.
Can I opt out?
Yes. See section 8 (Your choices).

We are the data controller for the information described in this policy. Some of our service providers (listed in section 6) act as independent controllers for their own purposes, for example advertising.
Player name (optional). You may enter a name in Settings. It is stored on your device. If you host or join a Bluetooth game, your name is shown to the other players at the table.
Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and what you write.
The following stays on your iPhone and is not sent to our servers by the App itself:
Your progress: level, experience points, coins, day streak, daily challenge progress and unlocked achievements.
Your settings: sound, music, volume, haptics, bot difficulty and your player name.
A random Player ID (a randomly generated code, not linked to your name, phone number or Apple ID). It lets you rejoin a Bluetooth game after a dropped connection, and it is used as an anonymous identifier in the analytics and crash-reporting described below.
Deleting the App removes this information from your device.
Usage analytics (Google Firebase Analytics). We record events such as: a game starting or ending (mode, difficulty, whether you won, number of rounds), a round ending (stars, whether the contract was made), a paywall being viewed or a purchase being made, and an ad being shown. Firebase also collects technical information such as device model, operating system version, app version, language, time zone, an app instance / installation identifier, and approximate location (country or city level) derived from your IP address.
Crash and performance reports (Google Firebase Crashlytics). If the App crashes, a report is sent that includes the state of the App at the time, the device model and operating system, and the random Player ID. We use it to find and fix bugs.
Remote configuration (Google Firebase Remote Config). The App downloads settings from Google, for example which ad units to use. This request includes your Firebase installation identifier and basic device and app information.
Advertising data (Google AdMob and mediation partners). To show ads, our ad partners collect and use: the advertising identifier (IDFA) if you allow tracking, your IP address, device and operating system information, app information, and information about how you interact with ads (impressions, clicks, completed views). Our ad partners are Google AdMob, and through mediation, Liftoff Monetize (Vungle) and Meta Audience Network.
Purchase information (RevenueCat and Apple). When you buy Premium or restore a purchase, RevenueCat, our purchase-management provider, receives an anonymous app user ID, the purchase receipt and status, the product, the date and the country or storefront. Payment is handled entirely by Apple. We never receive your card or payment details.
Multiplayer uses Apple's Multipeer Connectivity, which works over Bluetooth and peer-to-peer Wi-Fi. When you host or join a table, your device exchanges your player name, your Player ID, and gameplay data (bids, cards played, scores) directly with the other devices at the table. This information travels between the devices and is not sent to our servers. The App asks for Bluetooth and Local Network permission for this purpose; if you decline, solo play still works. Other players are responsible for what they do with the information they see on their own devices.
We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone data, health data, or payment card details.
To provide the App: run the game, save your progress, connect players, and process your Premium purchase.
To show ads, and to keep the App free.
To understand and improve the App: measure how the game is used, fix crashes, and decide what to build next.
To keep the App safe and working: detect abuse, fraud and technical problems.
To meet legal obligations and to protect our rights.
We do not use your information to make decisions that have legal effects on you, and we do not build profiles of you ourselves.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on:
Consent for personalized advertising and cross-app tracking (the iOS tracking prompt and the Google consent form). You can withdraw consent at any time (section 8).
Contract for providing the App and processing your purchase.
Legitimate interests for analytics, crash reporting, security and improving the App, balanced against your rights. You can object (section 8).
Legal obligation where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.
We share information only as described here.
Our ad partners may use advertising data for their own purposes as described in their own privacy policies. If you allow tracking, this can include linking activity across apps and websites owned by other companies for advertising and measurement. In some laws (for example California's), this can count as "sharing" or "selling" information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out at any time by declining or turning off tracking (section 8).
We do not sell your information for money, and we do not knowingly sell or share the information of anyone under 16.
The App shows a short rewarded video ad after each round unless you have bought Premium. Watching it may earn a small coin bonus.
Premium removes these ads permanently. Ad code does not start for Premium players. Analytics and crash reporting continue unless you turn them off.
The first time you use the App, iOS asks whether you allow us to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. If you say Ask App Not to Track, the advertising identifier is not shared and ads are not personalized. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Where required by law (for example in the EEA and UK), a Google consent form asks for your choices about ad personalization. You can change them later in Settings → Privacy choices inside the App, when that option is shown.
You can also limit ad personalization in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising, and in Google's and Meta's own ad settings.
Tracking and ad personalization: see section 7.
Analytics and crash reports: turn off Settings → Privacy → Share usage and crash data in the App. New events stop being sent from that point.
Bluetooth and Local Network: you can switch these off in iOS Settings. Solo play is unaffected.
Player name and local data: edit your name in Settings, or delete the App to remove everything stored on your device.
Purchases: manage or ask for refunds through Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com). You can restore Premium on a new device with Restore purchases.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access the information we hold about you; correct it; delete it; receive a copy in a portable format; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; and complain to a data-protection authority. Residents of California also have the right to know, delete and correct, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. Residents of India have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, including access, correction, erasure and grievance redressal.
How to use your rights. Email us at [contact@adxsdk.com]. Because we do not have your name or email, we usually cannot tell which analytics records belong to you. To let us find and delete your records, open Settings → Privacy → Support ID in the App, copy the ID and include it in your email. We may ask you to confirm you control that device. We aim to reply within 30 days. You may also contact your local data-protection authority.
On your device: until you delete the App or clear its data.
Firebase Analytics: up to 14 months. Crashlytics reports: up to 90 days.
Purchase records (RevenueCat, Apple): for as long as needed to honour your purchase and to meet legal, tax and accounting duties.
Advertising data: kept by our ad partners under their own policies.
Bluetooth game data: exists only while the game is running on the devices at the table.
Our service providers are based in, or process data in, countries including the United States, India and elsewhere, which may have different data-protection laws from where you live. Where the law requires it, transfers rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the provider's certification under a recognized framework.
We use reasonable technical measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) to our service providers and encrypted Bluetooth game sessions. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the higher age of digital consent in your country, up to 16). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us at [contact@adxsdk.com] and we will work to delete it. If a parent or guardian allows a child to play, they should keep tracking turned off and manage purchases through Apple's Screen Time and Ask to Buy.
The App may display third-party ads and links that we do not control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to read their policies.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the effective date at the top and, if the changes are significant, tell you in the App or on the App Store page. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
