Space Hawks was founded in the Fall of 2024 by Piotr Smieja, Sophia Goings, and David Black. Nova, aka Rocket 0, was then built to spread recognition across the campus community. Since then, Space Hawks has built a strong core of consistent members, refined workshops, and developed technical skills across both teams to work on current rocketry projects.
