Q. What is your typical process for working with New Clients ?
When you have your first initial visit you will have an in depth consultation with me about your skin, little bit
about your lifestyle the work you do, what your likes or dislikes about your skin and what you desire for any
overall end results for your skin. I provide any recommendations or skin products you may best benefit from
if need be and your next suggested skin therapy appointment.
Q. What training & or advance licensing do you have in relations to your profession ?
I am a licensed Esthetician & Nail Technician, I started out in the beauty industry as
massage & spa therapist back in 1997. I am no stranger to the industry, I continue to
stay on top of my craft to better serve you all through various online, in person, and
professional industry conferences 4 times a year.
Q. What Products do you use for your facial treatments ?
Good question, when you come into my treatment room for a session rather you
receiving the express facial or a multiple of facial treatment services combined. My
goal as your is for you to leave feeling & seeing a noticeable difference in your
skin. I do use a variety of professional skin care products to appease to use within
my services as well for you to take home.
Q. Do you offer products to take home to help me with taking care of my skin?
Absolutely, depending on what is discovered during our initial consultation if you
are new or returning and we find that your skin routine needs to be tweaked for
what the current season is I can help assist and make recommendations.
Q. How often should I get an facial or a treatment ?
Well I would like to see everyone return for a deep cleansing & exfoliation at least
once every 4-6 weeks, depending on your age & what is going on with your skin and
if you are an advent at home skincare routine gal or not using good products.
The life span of our skin cell turnover is 28 days so around this time or shortly
after is good time for a good sloughing to keep your skin looking radiantly glowing.
Q. Are having Facials worth the time & money ?
Great question! Everyone needs & budgets are different. However we all
experience great benefits of having our skin improved through application
daily of using good appropriate skincare & having facial treatments performed
to keep our skin healthy and vibrant. It is important because as we age gravity
take a part in the elasticity of our skin no matter what, so why not help it & always
take the time & investment in the skin you are wearing to counteract & defy the
signs of aging as long as we can. Facials are truly workouts out for the Skin !
Q, Why come to you vs. DIY at home for my facial or Body therapies ?
Wow well this is a loaded question eeh yes, but an fair one. You absolutely
can do all things at home. However you come to me not only for a great service
but for the personal attention on your skin health with guidance. By seeing me
we are able to facilitate a deeper sense of relaxation and special touch of pampering
knowing someone else is taking good care of you while you my friend are able to
relax. Coming to me you wont just have a service rendered but an "Experience"
you will leave feeling excited about.
Q. What treatments do you offer for acne ?
Not to sound gross, I love working with all skin but especially those suffering from
kind of acne or hyperpigmentation. I love watching & being a part of the trans-
formations in the complexity of their skin and the confidence that often comes with
acne being cleared up. There are times that my program may not be enough & we
have to pull in a dermatologist for a prescribed med alongside combination of acne
chemical facials & home maintenance products is a must.
Q. How far in advance do you accept bookings or appointments ?
Great inquiry, I can usually accept appointments within a day or two however
generally try not to book no more than 3 weeks in advance. I do also require that
you give at least 24 hour notice if you need to cancel, for I often can get busy or some cancel
or moves to another appointment slot, I can call upon those ladies who have been placed on
the waiting list of next availability.
Q. Do you recommend specific treatments ?
Sometimes when a person is new coming in & may have a particular treatment in
mind, it may be necessary for me to offer an alternative service if 1. their skin is not
ready for that service or I see that there is a better or multiple services in one that I
feel would be more beneficial at time of service. I will always tell you why & what is
my thoughts on what is next.
