We only collect information that is strictly necessary to provide and improve the application's core functionality.
Voluntary information you provide to us when creating or modifying your account:
Account Credentials: Name, email address, and password used exclusively for authentication and account security.
Profile Picture: An optional image uploaded by you (this can be a personal photo, scenery, or any image of your choice).
With your explicit permission, SoyIN integrates with Apple’s HealthKit framework to read fitness data:
Data Collected: Step count data.
Purpose: This data is used solely to track your steps within the app's challenges and features.
Strict Protection: We do not use or disclose HealthKit data for marketing, advertising, or other use-based data mining purposes. Your health data is stored locally on your device and securely synced only for the app's internal mechanics.
We do not collect background device data, IP addresses, unique device identifiers, or tracking analytics.
We use trusted third-party services to handle infrastructure and authentication. These services handle your data securely in accordance with their own privacy policies:
Backend & Database (Google Firebase): Used to securely store user credentials, account profiles, and essential app data.
Authentication (Google Sign-In & Apple Sign-In): Used to facilitate secure, streamlined account creation and login processing.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data or health metrics with any third-party advertisers or data brokers.
We retain your personal information only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the application's services.
In compliance with Apple App Store requirements, you have full control over your data. You can delete your account and all associated personal information directly from within the SoyIN application at any time. Upon deletion, your account details, profile picture, and synced data will be permanently removed from our Firebase backend.
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures provided by our backend infrastructure (Google Firebase) to help protect your personal information. While we take reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.
