Research Process

Sovereign Science does not actively seek, ecocide or potential research "projects". Instead, we partner with individuals and communities who seek larger ecological understanding and rematriation. Some of the work Sovereign Science does in the lab, can be brought to communities or tribal schools! Sovereign Science seeks to constantly be in conversation with peoples while learning together to create positive, intersectional change while protecting and communicating with diverse and sacred ecosystems. 

We do not disclose the locations or Tribal Nations we are in consult with unless, they've approved or until research is complete. This process is designed to respect the consent and sovereignty of the peoples, community, ecosystem and data itself. With this being said, presently Sovereign Science L.L.C. has only conducted consultations and research in Turtle Island (North America).
