Sovanlal Mondal

Hello! I am a Postdoctoral Scholar at Oregon State University and my mentor is Philipp Kunde. I completed my PhD from the University of Memphis in 2023. My thesis advisor was Máté Wierdl, and then I was a Postdoc at the Ohio State University where my mentor was Vitaly Bergelson.

Prior to joining the University of Memphis, I did my Masters from Indian Statistical Institute, Bangalore. My research interest is on ergodic theory and related topics. More precisely, I am interested in behavior of ergodic averages along deterministic and random subsequences.

I am on job market for tenured track position.
