I completed PhD at IIT Guwahati under the supervision of Prof. Subhradip Ghosh on multifunctional inverse Heusler alloys in 2015. Following that, I received a fellowship for two years from Uppsala University, Sweden to perform postdoctoral research on strongly correlated materials in the group of Prof. Olle Eriksson. Subsequently, I moved to the University of Kiel, Germany, in the group of Prof. Stefan Heinze, and later joined the group of Prof. Stefan Blügel at Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany, where I worked on magnetic skyrmions until 2022. I spent six months at the University of Warwick, UK as a research fellow before joining IISER TVM as an assistant professor in February 2023. My research is broadly focused on magnetism. I have published in high-impact journals such as Nature Communications, npj Computational Materials, and Physical Review Letters, as well as in other reputed journals such as Physical Review B, Journal of Applied Physics, and Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter.
