Currently, I am an Institute Post Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Mathematical Sciences  at IISER Mohali. 

I have received my PhD from  Jadavpur University  under the supervision of  Professor Kallol Paul.

Thesis Title: A study of local symmetric properties and geometric constants in Banach spaces

Research Interest: Broadly speaking, I work in Functional Analysis. More precisely, my work involves geometry of Banach spaces from the perspective of orthogonality notions. 

•   The study of Best approximation and coapproximation in function spaces and in operator spaces. 

•   Local symmetric properties through various orthogonality notions.

•   Geometric constants in Banach spaces and in operator spaces.

• Applications of orthogonality (Birkhoff-James).
