Our Story | The Beginning of SSTC

Every journey starts with a belief.

In 2004, SSTC began as a small learning center with a simple but powerful mission:
to give people in Laos the skills, confidence, and opportunity to build a better future through education.

Back then, we taught English and computer skills—not just as subjects, but as tools for opening doors, creating opportunities, and changing lives. One learner at a time, one class at a time, we saw how knowledge could transform confidence, careers, and communities.

As Laos continued to grow, so did the needs of the people and organizations serving it.
Teams needed stronger systems. Projects needed better planning. Decisions needed evidence, not guesswork.

So we listened.
We learned.
And we evolved.

In early 2025, that journey led to a new chapter:
the transformation into SOUVANNASAB Training and Consulting Center (SSTC)—a trusted partner for iNGOs, CSOs, government agencies, and development partners working for sustainable impact.

Today, SSTC is more than a training provider.
We are a partner in growth.
A builder of capacity.
A believer in people.

Because when people are empowered, organizations become stronger.
And when organizations are stronger, communities thrive.

Our People | The Heart of SSTC

Behind every successful program at SSTC is a team that believes deeply in people.

Our management team brings together experienced professionals from education, development, research, and consulting, with years of hands-on work alongside iNGOs, government institutions, CSOs, and communities across Laos. They don’t just lead from behind a desk—they lead from the field, from classrooms, and from real project experience.

What unites our leaders is a shared commitment to quality, integrity, and impact. Every decision we make is guided by one question:
How can this truly help people and organizations grow?

Our members and associates are trainers, consultants, researchers, and practitioners—each selected not only for their technical expertise, but for their ability to teach, mentor, and inspire.
