People often misunderstands Karma as something religious but it is not. Karma is another word to describe the law of attraction. This adventure in New Zealand has teached me a lot about this.
Your interactions in life are the reflections of who you are and how you feel. There is also something very important that took me a while to realize: Being good or kind (a positive energy) towards someone doesn't mean you must wait for something back from this exact person. However, because space and time are relative, you will get back this act of kindness in another space and time from something or someone else because everything in this Universe is balanced as the laws of physics tell us.
Having in mind everything around us is just energy in different states of vibration helps to understand. The act of observation transform this energy into something visible or tangible (Schrödinger's cat) from Einstein famous equation E=mc2. Your thoughts and feelings shape those vibrations. The strongest vibrations shape the reality we all experience. There is a lot more to talk about in this field but it's another topic I encourage you to explore. It's really interesting and again it's scientific. It has nothing to do with religion, only with consciousness.
