Men's Varsity Head Coach

Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Coach Christian Vasquez moved to Georgia in 2006 and has been a dedicated member of the soccer community ever since. With over 12 years of club coaching experience and 10 years coaching high school soccer, Coach Vasquez brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the game.

He currently holds his U.S. Soccer “A” Coaching License, reflecting his commitment to developing players both on and off the field. In recognition of his leadership and success, Coach Vasquez was named the 2021 Gwinnett County Coach of the Year and the 2021 7A Region 4 Coach of the Year.

Coach Vasquez continues to inspire his players through hard work, discipline, and a love for the beautiful game.

Women's Varsity Head Coach

Originally from the island of Jamaica, Coach Allan Forbes brings over 37 years of coaching experience to the game. For the past two years, he has proudly served as the Head Coach of the South Gwinnett High School Girls Varsity Soccer Team, leading the program with passion, discipline, and a commitment to excellence.

In 2024, Coach Forbes was honored as the Region 6A, Area 4 Coach of the Year after guiding the Lady Comets to a Girls Region Championship. His dedication to developing skilled, confident, and team-oriented players continues to drive the program’s success.

Coach Forbes and the Lady Comets look forward to building on their accomplishments and achieving another successful season.
