The Liberty County Sheriff's Office Special Response Team (S.R.T.) was initially established as The Liberty Rangers, focusing on fugitive apprehension throughout the State of Liberty. However, following the 9/11 terrorist attacks in 2001, the team's mission shifted to addressing high-level counterterrorism operations. Today, the S.R.T. is responsible for serving Liberty County and portions of River City.
