SOUTHERN STATE ROLEPLAY PRIVACY POLICY
Purpose
The purpose of the SS:RP Privacy Policy is to establish set guidelines on information privacy, protecting the information of all members within SS:RP. The Privacy Policy is strictly enforced by our Management Team, and we strive to have equal maximum privacy for all members.
Our Privacy Policy is enforced in several fields in the community. The sections below will provide information on what is protected, what rights a member has, etc.
Our community has a general privacy policy among all fields in our community. This includes:
Personal information such as age, birthday, and other sensitive information such as private issues.
Drama and/or discussions in DMs.
Personal LOA reasons shared with the Management Team in DMs.
Respect for one's privacy amongst all members.
Confidencial VC’s will be kept between SS:RP Management Team, and Authorized Users.
All LOA reasons are to be written out in the respective inactivity-notice channel in our community. However, in the case one’s reasoning is too sensitive for the server, they are permitted to write ‘Personal’ as their reason.
In doing so, a member from the Management Team will DM the person asking what is going on. The Management Team’s only purpose of doing this is to ensure the member is safe, and okay. However, the member is not obligated to share their reasoning if they are feeling too sensitive to share it. The Management Team shall respect their choice immediately upon refusal to share their personal issues. If the member does share their reasoning, the Management Team will keep the reasoning private from all members other than those within the Management Team. If any member from Management is found to be sharing personal reasons for LOA to another member, they may be punished severely.
A member may not attempt to force the LOA member for the personal reason of their inactivity notice. The Management Team must be notified of this situation happening so the member may be punished accordingly.
All DM discussions, relevant or irrelevant, shall not be disclosed by either party/parties unless all members give consent. Discussions include:
Fights, drama, arguments
Complaints about the community
Discussions about infractions
Information such as this may only be disclosed to Management Team and Internal Affairs in the case of an active investigation ongoing about the parties in a custom made group chat.
