SOUTHERN STATE ROLEPLAY COMMUNITY RULES (DISCORD RULES)
These rules govern community behavior within the SSRP Discord server (And Other Related SSRP Servers) to provide a safe, respectful, and organized environment. Members must follow all communication, content, and conduct standards, including appropriate language, respectful interaction, proper channel usage, and compliance with staff direction. Violations may result in moderation actions, including warnings, mutes, kicks, or bans.
Your Discord nickname must match your Roblox username exactly. It should not include any special fonts, symbols, or extra text.
If you are found spamming applications, you will be banned and blacklisted from SS:RP.
Do not spam or flood the chats with questions, letters, words, sentences, or paragraphs. If you do, you will be banned and blacklisted from SS:RP.
If you are caught lying on an application, you will be banned and blacklisted from SS:RP. This includes dishonesty about age, gender, skills, or any other information.
If we believe you’re trolling or not taking any application seriously, you will fail and be blacklisted from applying for any position for 10 months.
You may ping once or twice, but more than three times will be considered excessive. If caught, the first offense results in a warning, the second in a one-day timeout, and the third will result in a 3-Month ban from SS:RP.
Respect all members and everyone around you. Do not use slurs of any kind doing so will result in a ban from SS:RP. Treat others the way you want to be treated. Furthermore, respect the staff. Do not insult or personally dismiss them. If you defend yourself or personally mute a staff member, you will receive a one-week timeout or a ban. Additionally, using profanity towards staff may result in either a one-week timeout or a ban. From SS:RP.
(Pining Staff is also considered violation of this rule do not ping staff for unnecessary reasons)
7. Do Not Harass Community Members/Staff Members
Do not harass community members in public chats or DMs. SS:RP staff monitors DMs, and if you harass someone, the first offense will result in a warning. A second offense will lead to a ban, and blacklisting from SS:RP, and a report to Discord for bullying and harassment.
(Harassing Staff Will Result In An Immediate Ban Without The Chance Of Appeal)
Do not copy or steal from the community. This includes documents, logos, websites, formats, or any other SS:RP Assets.
Advertising through private DMs or public chats is not allowed. You will receive a warning for the first offense, and continued violations will result in a ban from SS:RP.
Furthermore, Keep all other community drama out of SS:RP. Additionally, do not discuss any other communities in public or private chats.
THE ONLY PICTURES ALLOWED IN THE "MEDIA" CHANNEL ARE SSRP SESSION PICTURES, OR PUBLIC ERLC SERVERS NO OTHER PRIVATE SERVERS
Posting any form of NSFW content will result in an immediate ban from SS:RP (NO APPEAL) and a report to Discord. DO NOT POST!!!
11. Do Not Ask For Roles/Ranks
All roles must be earned through proper processes such as department applications or staff tryouts. Do not ask for special ranks, perks, or free promotions. If you are banned and later return, all previous roles are removed and must be regained legitimately. (Unless Otherwise) Only request roles you have officially earned.
Do not involve yourself in staff matters, such as asking about another member’s punishment or inserting yourself into an active investigation. Mini-modding is also prohibited. If you’re not involved, stay out of it we don’t need you trying to break up arguments or stepping into situations that don’t concern you. If it’s not your business, don’t comment your input is not always necessary. The best way to support the community is to report rule violations and allow staff to handle them.
SS:RP is an English-only server. All communication must be in English, and speaking in other languages (Such as French, Spanish, etc.) is not permitted. This ensures clear communication and allows staff to moderate effectively.
Alternate accounts are strictly forbidden in SS:RP. If you can access your main account, there is no reason to use an alt. Leaving SS:RP to avoid moderation will result in a ban and blacklist. Alt accounts are also barred from all SS:RP-related platforms, including Roblox groups, CAD systems, and other community resources.
Some casual swearing is permitted in SS:RP, both in the server and in sessions. However, excessive or unnecessary cursing may result in a warning or removal from the community. Using vulgar language to harass or target other members or staff is strictly prohibited and will lead to a ban and potential blacklisting.
SS:RP is a Canada/United States only community all members must reside in a U.S. state or Canadian province. Additionally, SS:RP is a PC/Desktop only server. If you are already a member and your desktop becomes unusable, you will be removed from the server however, once you obtain a new compatible desktop, all previously earned roles will be restored.
All members must remain active by attending at least 1/3 of scheduled sessions during the Summer season and 1/2 of scheduled sessions during the School season. Missing required sessions without a valid reason is not permitted.
Must Join a Session for at least an Hour
1st & 2nd offenses: Warning
3rd offense: Removal from SS:RP (You must reapply to return)
