Founded in 1862 by Governor George T. Wood, Liberty State Fire & Rescue has been a cornerstone of public safety, proudly serving 22 of the 36 municipalities across Liberty State. Our mission is simple but profound: to protect lives and property with unwavering Courage, Compassion, and Commitment. We are a dynamic and specialized organization, with expert teams in Fire Suppression, Rescue Operations, Hazardous Materials Response, and Emergency Medical Services. As the leading fire protection agency in Liberty State, we are dedicated to responding quickly, efficiently, and safely to any emergency.
