FAQs

How will scoring work?

We will be using a weighted point system rewarding higher finishes like at the CrossFit Games. This is because we are hosting such a small event, where ties often occur due to there being such a small point spread. In the event of a tie, the athlete or team with the higher finish will win the tiebreak. In the event where an athlete or team both has the same high finish (if both have a 1st place finish), the next highest finish after that will win.

Workouts for the top 10 individuals were created and tested to include some familiar movements and some you may not have seen in the Open with a combination of challenging weights, gymnastics, and cardio. We have faith that these tests will further test your fitness, while all being within your capacity. All individual males and females will have a guaranteed 4 workouts, with the top 5 males and females making a 5th final workout. Scoring for individuals is as follows:

Events 1-2-3-4:

1st-100 points

2nd-95 points

4th-85 points

5th-80 points

6th-75 points

2nd-95 points

3rd-90 points
