MEETING PROGRAMME - SEPTEMBER 2019 until JUNE 2020.
21st September The Three Rivers Rail Partnership (Railways in Hampshire) by Mark Miller. A power-point talk on what the partnership is, its volunteers and its aims and achievements.
19th October Siberian Yorkshire by Ken Mumford. Ken returns with a digital presentation on rail journeys in Winter in Yorkshire.
16th November Trains and Light Railways - by John Laker and Keith Spillett. An evening of wide screen HD video from the selection of dvd’s that the duo have produced over the years. The white wall in the hall will be filled with these amazing videos - an evening not to be missed!
21st December Film Show Evening by Martin Davey. An evening of railway drama and cinema style entertainment with an interlude for Christmas style refreshments.
18th January Members photographic evening - by yourselves. Bring along your slides or memory stick and the stage is yours for a 15 minutes presentation.
15th February Gosling’s Galivants 2019 - Paul Gosling. Paul will start his journey at Millbrook and travel many miles in slides before returning to his home station introducing us to many transport scenes and the people who made them all happen.

The Ramblings of a Railwayman at Guildford MPD - Geoff Birch. Geoff will recall his cleaning and footplate days with steam based at Guildford in the mid-1960s. He is an author and no doubt his book will be on sale. This is a must for those of you who enjoy the nostalgia of steam .

Midland Extremities from the Somerset and Dorset to the Settle and Carlisle Railways by Terry Nicholls. The speaker is infamous for his knowledge and tonight he will present a fast moving steam based slide show to the delight of the audience - please make his journey from Bristol worthwhile.

A Journey from Eastleigh to Weymouth in the 1970s and 1980s - Paul James. Paul has recently realised that the slides he took whilst employed as a train driver are now historically interesting. We have persuaded him to come from Lancing to give us a railwayman’s view of working for BR in the “all blue” period.
