DEFINITION

Home Share allows two or more adults to share housing for their mutual benefit.

A person (the Home Provider) offers a private bedroom and shared common area in exchange  (with the Home Seeker) for financial consideration, help around the house or a combination of the two.

BENEFITS  include:

• ECONOMICS ( Money for the Home Provider/ affordable housing for the Home Seeker.)

• SECURITY (Having someone else in the house for any emergency.)

• COMPANIONSHIP (Someone to talk with, go shopping with etc.)

Since Covid, we are constantly reminded that Home Sharing can be an antidote:
