Southern Boaters is an online marketplace that allows users to buy, sell, and browse boats and related marine equipment.
Southern Boaters is not:
A boat dealer
A broker
A lender
An insurer
A party to any transaction between buyers and sellers
We do not own, inspect, verify, guarantee, or endorse any listed boat, seller, buyer, or transaction.
All transactions occur solely between users.
You are responsible for:
Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activity occurring under your account
Keeping your contact information accurate
You agree not to:
Share your account with others
Create false accounts
Impersonate another person or business
Circumvent account restrictions
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.
You are solely responsible for any content you submit, including:
Photos
Descriptions
Pricing
Specifications
Messages
Reviews
You agree that all content:
Is truthful and accurate
Does not infringe intellectual property rights
Does not violate applicable laws
Does not contain fraudulent or misleading information
By posting content, you grant Southern Boaters a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to display, reproduce, distribute, and promote such content within the Service.
Users may not:
Post fraudulent listings
Misrepresent ownership of a boat
Engage in scams or deceptive conduct
Upload malicious software or code
Harvest user information
Interfere with Service operations
Use automated systems to scrape data
Violate any applicable law or regulation
Southern Boaters reserves the right to remove content and terminate accounts involved in prohibited activities.
Sellers are responsible for ensuring that:
They own the boat or have authority to sell it
Listing information is accurate
Photos accurately represent the vessel
Pricing is truthful and current
Southern Boaters does not guarantee:
Listing accuracy
Boat condition
Vessel ownership
Availability of listed boats
Buyers are responsible for conducting their own inspections, title verification, and due diligence.
Southern Boaters does not process, guarantee, or oversee transactions unless explicitly stated within the Service.
Users assume all risks associated with:
Payments
Deposits
Escrow arrangements
Financing
Title transfers
Vessel inspections
We recommend users exercise caution when exchanging funds or personal information.
Users may communicate through features provided within the Service.
You agree not to send:
Harassing messages
Threatening communications
Spam
Fraudulent solicitations
Southern Boaters may monitor communications where permitted by law for safety and compliance purposes.
All trademarks, logos, software, designs, and content owned by Southern Boaters are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Listings are accurate
Boats are available
Transactions will be completed
Users are trustworthy
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOUTHERN BOATERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
INDIRECT DAMAGES
INCIDENTAL DAMAGES
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
LOST PROFITS
LOSS OF DATA
PERSONAL INJURY
PROPERTY DAMAGE
arising from use of the Service.
Our total liability shall not exceed $100 USD or the amount paid by you to Southern Boaters during the preceding 12 months, whichever is greater.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Southern Boaters, its owners, employees, affiliates, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:
Your use of the Service
Your content
Your transactions
Your violation of this Agreement
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including violations of this Agreement.
Upon termination:
Your right to use the Service ends immediately.
Certain provisions of this Agreement will survive termination.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved in the courts located within Florida.
Southern Boaters may modify this Agreement at any time.
Updated versions will be posted within the app or website with a revised effective date.
Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.
