Welcome to the Southeastern Arizona Collaborative Education (SACE) team. The SACE team is made up of Base Hospital managers, Pre-Hospital coordinators, and EMS Liaisons from the Southeastern Arizona region. The goal of the SACE team is to provide global base hospital continuing education. Meaning any CE that is taught using the standards set forth by the SACE team will count for Base Hospital CE with all organizations in the Southeastern region.
*The SACE team was developed to create effective, efficient, and long-lasting education and at no point will it be used as a referral source, base hospital contract negotiation, or an attempt to increase call volume to a specific hospital.
1. Increase the number of Base Hospital continuing education opportunities
2. Create efficiency within pre-hospital continuing education
3. Provide a regional approach to training and education
4. Deliver a non-bias educational experience
Continuing education provided under the Southeastern Arizona Collaborative Education team will comply with the standards set forth by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians and are adapted from the National Association of State EMS Officials (NASEMSO) Model EMS Clinical Guidelines.
