At the moment the only platform compatible with our server is Java. This is expected to change in the future as we try and join bte.net.

Don't build the interiors of any private buildings (houses, barns, sheds, etc). Buildings/landmarks that are public and are iconic should have interiors done. Any place that is openly available for the average person can be built. It is completely up to you whether or not to build it.
Place such as lobbies, waiting rooms, and churches can all be built (if accurate references are available), but refrain from building any private interiors such as homes, offices, government buildings, and hotel rooms.

You are logging in to the website with a different Discord account than you're using on this server. Go to Settings in the Discord app, see what email address you are using. That is the account you use when you log into Discord on your browser. To log out from your other Discord account in your internet browser, go to https://discordapp.com/channels and log out there.

The location markers on the BuildTheEarth website map are cached for about 24-48 hours, to reduce the load on the server. To verify whether your location has been approved, or whether a modification has taken place, log in to My BuildTheEarth and scroll down to 'Solo builds' and open the page for the location in question.

No, we suggest that you use a dark block for the inside of a building, and we suggest to cover some windows with glow stone, or sea lanterns to give a nice effect at night. (Not randomized patterns)

The Cubic Chunks mod can barely handle 40 players on a server, let alone 100 or more, because of its rendering limitations.

You could also map out areas where we are working on OSM, so that we have accurate building outlines and roads for builders to use. Learning the interface and becoming an editor is very simple. Go to https://www.openstreetmap.org/ and click "Start Mapping" for your short tutorial! Finally, you can visit places we are building in real life and take reference pictures where google maps street view cannot see.
