If you are applying to play at South Coast Raw, please consider the following:

South Coast Raw spots are very limited and competition is strong.

To give your band the best opportunity for selection to play at SCR, you need to put together the best application possible to make sure that your band stands out from the many other quality bands that apply to SCR.

Good applications include:

Relevant information about your band including:
Genre, originals or covers, achievements, other gigs you have played, other bands you have played with.
All relevant links to your: Facebook – website – YouTube – music samples etc.

Poor applications have:

Very little information
No links
No samples
Poor grammar

SCR event organisers review all applications in our own time.

If you would like us to spend the time to review your application, we would like to see YOU spend the time putting together a good quality application that provides us with all the relevant information.

You can also show your interest and support by:
* Attending SCR gigs and actively participating in the local music scene.
* Coming up and saying hi and introducing yourself at a SCR gig.
* Following up your messages with reminders that you are still keen to play.
