South African Virtual Airlines operates primarily out of hubs to provide route networks across Southern Africa and beyond, while the busiest of them all is Johannesburg.

Located in the economic heart of South Africa, Johannesburg serves as South African Virtual’s main hub, serving as the central gateway for domestic and international operations. Many of our long-haul flights originate here, giving pilots ample opportunities to experience major global routes, while being in a beautiful landscape with sprawling savannahs, dramatic escarpments, and iconic landmarks such as the Drakensberg Mountains.

Cape Town International Airport (FACT / CPT)
Cape Town not only offers short flights, but also many long-haul flights, to, for example, major Europe Hubs such as London, Paris, Zurich, and so on. Pilots flying from here experience some of the most spectacular scenery in the world, including Table Mountain, the Cape Winelands, and the jagged coastline along the Cape Peninsula. These routes offer a mix of cross-country and short-haul flights, combining operational variety with stunning aerial views.
