Summer camp is a chance to advance as a scout while having a great time. Scout skills, merit badge classes, and other awards, usually at a waterfront camp with swimming, lifeguarding, rowing, and sailing alongside classic camp activities like shotgun, archery, and rock climbing. The girls Troop 8572 has not yet gone to summer camp and they plan to go in 2027 to Malita Island along with the boys.
Troop 572 has gone to summer camp every year since at least 1996, rotating mostly through council camps across the Pacific Northwest and Oregon (2020’s camp was cancelled due to COVID-19 state guidelines).
