We have successfully filled our PAC Vice Chair position! Please join me in welcoming Alison Goldie, who officially joined the committee at our AGM meeting last month. We would like to give a special note of thanks to Deanna Stier, for her time acting as our PAC Vice Chair, your contributions to our school community went above and beyond and we are deeply appreciative for your commitment to the role this past year.
We have also successfully filled our Special Foods Coordinator role for the September 2025 school year. Thanks to the parents that have stepped in, we will now be able to continue offering this program next school year!
A special thanks goes to Brandie, for her dedication and commitment to coordinating our hot lunches this past year. We deem this program a success and are grateful for our volunteer helpers, and the diversity of food and regular cadence of hot lunches we were able to provide our school community. We now welcome Brandie into our Grade 7 parent liaison role!
We would also like to thank Sarah, for her support and commitment to our Grade 7 fundraising and year end events planning. Your hard work and dedication to ensuring our Grade 7s have a year to remember, organizing our parent volunteer helpers, is so appreciated - thank you!

We have successfully filled our PAC Vice Chair position! Please join me in welcoming Alison Goldie, who will officially join the committee at our upcoming AGM on Monday, May 12th. We are still looking for a Special Foods Coordinator to fill this role for our September 2025 school year. This role will be handed off at the end of this school year in June with support from our current Special Foods Coordinator, Brandie, to ensure an easy transition. 🔗 Walk for the Caws May 31st Delta Community Event
We invite you to walk to raise awareness for Williams Syndrome! Join this community event, being hosted at Memorial Park where we will be walking to raise awareness for Williams syndrome and bring our WS community together. Funds raised will support programs such as virtual music therapy, scholarships for WS camps, parent education and support sessions, and more. Register here

New Format: One Night Only! Mark your calendars for May 10th and join us at the Tsawwassen Legion for an evening of 90’s music, drinks, and fun! Partial proceeds from donations at the door will go directly back to the PAC to fund school initiatives. Don’t miss out on a great night! Event details to come after the break!
NatureKids BC is a nature discovery and environmental action non-profit organization that helps children form meaningful and enduring connections with nature alongside their families. We offer FREE nature-based events called Explorer Days for families with children ages 5-12! Membership is also FREE for families to join and they will receive a subscription to our NatureWIlD magazine.

“The Parent Voice” - Discuss and share parent views with school administration and provide input/feedback
Promote involvement of parents/guardians to contribute to the effectiveness of the school
Work collaboratively with the school to enhance our children’s education
Raise funds to support school goals through PAC sponsored fundraising events and activities
YOU ARE! Any parent/guardian of a child attending the school is automatically part of the PAC.
PAC Executives are parents who have volunteered their time (only a few hours a month) to fill these more hands-on roles.
The PAC listens to the needs of the school and parent community raising funds to subsidize many of the things we do to give our children the best possible experience in their elementary school years.
Funds from the PAC have helped with classroom funds, technology updates, library books, field trip funds, our courtyard update to name a few.
Attend the PAC meetings (most are via zoom so you can join from the comforts of your home) - these meetings are under an hour!

Courtyard Garden Revitalization Project:
Our courtyard garden revitalization project planning is underway and we are seeking 3-5+ volunteers to join Mme Megan Andersen for any or all of the following dates to dismantle old garden beds, remove dirt, and assemble new garden beds to beautify and revitalizing this experiential learning space in the courtyard off the staff room.

In partnership with school administration, the PAC has purchased brand-new Chromebook computers for our school!
These amazing learning tools will be accessible to all students, enhancing education and opening up even more opportunities for success.
This was made possible thanks to your support of PAC fundraising initiatives like Movie Day and Donut Day—your contributions truly make a difference!
The Art Card initiative was yet again a big success and continues to be a profitable fundraiser for the school community. This year the PAC raised $2700 in funds to go towards upcoming events and operating costs; including the new garden revitalization project in 2025.

Six parents are asked to join this committee, with one parent leading the charge. This committee will handle all the details, including decorations, ceremony setup, party favours, and other special touches that will make the event unforgettable.
As many of you have heard, membership with Canadian Parents for French (CPF) is now FREE and easier than ever! We are thrilled to introduce your Parent Advisory
Council (PAC) Executive Committee.
This year, we have some exciting initiatives and are eager to invite our community of parents in volunteer efforts to make our school the best it can be. Your involvement, no matter how big or small, will help create a supportive and thriving environment for our children and school community.
Stay tuned for our Monthly Newsletter with important information on volunteer positions, fundraising campaigns and special 'save the dates' to mark your calendars!
Our PAC will be discussing the recently approved 2024/2025 Budget, as well as fundraising initiatives at our next PAC meeting virtually on Wednesday, October 30th. Please join us in these monthly meetings to stay informed on our school and community. We are looking to fill the below open positions, and you are invited to join the PAC as Member at Large.
Call for an Events Coordinator to join the PAC: coordinating Movie Day and other special events. This role also involves leading the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon and working with the Fundraising Coordinator on days like Movie Day, Donut Day, and parent engagement events (e.g., Trivia Night). Average commitment: 2-4 hours per month.
Call for Volunteer Coordinator: will manage parent volunteer support for events like Crombie's Book Fair, the future Garden Club, Movie Day, Math Night, and other special events. Average commitment: 2 hours per month.
