The Sheboygan South Girls Jr. Redwings Basketball program is a youth basketball organization that enables girls in 3rd - 8th grade the opportunity to be on competitive traveling basketball teams. The goal of the program is to learn proper sports skills and techniques in an atmosphere where good sportsmanship, ethics, teamwork, fun, enjoyment and competitiveness are stressed. The program, which is intended for those planning to attend Sheboygan South High School in the future, is the “official feeder program” for Sheboygan South High School and will be an extension of the Sheboygan South High School Girls Basketball program. It is the intent of the Junior Redwings to offer an increased opportunity for players to gain experience playing competitive basketball. Players participating in this program will be able to take part in many competitive basketball games in league and tournament settings.

Join us for our Annual School Supply Drive Tournament — a fun day of basketball for a great cause!
All school supplies collected will be donated to a local community organization for distribution.

📅 Date: Sunday, February 15, 2026
🕒 Registration Deadline: January 30, 2026

💲 Entry Fee: $210 per team
✅ Guaranteed 3 games
👧 Girls Divisions: Grades 3–8

🏆 Awards: Individual awards for 1st and 2nd place (12 per team)
🍔 Concessions: Full concession stand available — no carry-ins allowed

⚙️ Tournament Rules & Highlights

• 2 twenty-minute halves per game

• Running clock (stop time last 2 minutes of each half)

• Man-to-man defense for 3rd–4th grade; all defenses allowed for 5th–8th grade

• Pressing allowed (with restrictions by grade and score)

• 3 timeouts per game; 1 per overtime period

• Overtime: 2 minutes stop time; 3rd OT = sudden death

• No jewelry; all basketballs must remain in bags when not in play

• Each team must provide a scorekeeper or clock keeper
  
  

⚠️ No AAU or All-Star Teams – all players must be from the same school district.
Officials’ decisions are final. Two technical fouls = ejection from the tournament.
