DECA Prepared Events
Must be in a marketing class or be a pathway completor
DECA’s prepared events require a written project as well as a prepared presentation, and some require participants to take a career cluster exam. All of these events should be started early in the school year because of the preparation involved.

A real-world business scenario
Based on a business situation or case study
Includes a problem that needs to be a solved and a plan that needs to be prepared
Competitors receive 10/30 minutes to prepare a scenario and 10 minutes to present to a judge
