Volunteer Roles
The South End PTO needs volunteers like you to help make South End the small school with a big heart! There are opportunities to volunteer at home and at school - no matter your schedule, we can find a place for you to be involved! We are looking for parents to chair the following PTO Committees and volunteers to help. Some of these events and activities will not be possible without volunteers to run them!

Halloween Raffle Chair - Open

Bowling Club Chair - Tracy Munson
Work with Shawn McDowell at Apple Valley Bowl to set up and organize Bowling Club
Ride bus with children from school to bowling alley
Organize lane volunteers
Be the point person during Bowling Club - 5 to 6 Friday afternoons from 2:45 - 5:15p in November & December

Drama Club Chair - Tanya Paolino & Brittany Connor
Responsible for putting on our wonderful production in the spring!

Drama Club Volunteers
Do you have a talent or enthusiasm for costumes, backstage, props, volunteering, chaperoning? We would love to get some 4th grade parents who want to learn the ropes this year!
Rehearsals run from 3 - 5p, with 3 performances at the end of April, but some of the necessary roles can also be done from home or on your time

Act as a liason between the PTO Board and Room Parents
Communicate with Room Parents to schedule gift solicitations, Halloween Raffle information, teacher appreciation activities, etc.

Help research and schedule cultural arts and assemblies for the school

Organize our entry into the parade (either walking, or a truck float)
