I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at IIT Jodhpur.
My research looks at climate risks, agricultural transformation, circular systems, energy transitions, and distress migration, particularly in contexts shaped by structural development challenges. I care about advancing an economics for the post-growth era that speaks to lived vulnerability, where data, policy, and everyday realities intersect.
Teaching is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my role. I especially enjoy teaching microeconomics, environmental economics, and econometrics.
I completed my PhD in Economics at the University of Auckland.
