I am an Assistant Professor in Economics at IIT Jodhpur.
My research looks at climate risks, agricultural transformation, circular systems, energy transitions, and distress migration, particularly in contexts shaped by structural development challenges. I care about advancing an economics that speaks to lived vulnerability, where data, policy, and everyday realities intersect.
Teaching is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my role. I especially enjoy teaching microeconomics, environmental economics, and econometrics.
I completed my PhD in Economics at the University of Auckland. My work has been widely featured in major media outlets, and I currently serve on the editorial boards of some high-impact journals.
I am always open to connecting, collaborating, or exchanging ideas around shared interests.
